Our partners have advised major national regulatory authorities on taxation matters, including the National Highway Authority (NHA), the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), and the Port Qasim Authority. A partner has served on the Appellate Body for Customs and Income Tax matters and in Export Order proceedings — an institutional vantage point available to very few practices — and has advised the IMF on fiscal governance benchmarks adopted as binding compliance measures for Pakistan.

The firm’s partners have ample experience and proven track record of successfully defending clients before tax authorities, tribunals and courts. Notable, the firm recently represented unit owners of the Mall of Islamabad – before Islamabad High Court, against the illegal order of auction of property by FBR.
