Professional Overview
Our specialised practice encompasses advising and representing clients in matters relating to bidding entire process including execution. Our team assists in preparing bidding documents, drafting RFPs, structuring contractual arrangements, negotiations, compliance and dealing with post-execution matters.
We have assisted clients in taking clarifications and advice from Public Procurement Regulatory Authority in large scale projects.
Our team successfully pleaded the view and sought exemption for Pakistan Cricket Board from the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority that the former is not obliged to follow the instructions of PPRA legislative framework while disposing its digital assets. This helped generate PCB millions of dollars in revenue by auctioning digital rights to foreign broadcasters.
We assist in enhancing the capacity of the public sector organisations to ensure compliance with procurement process and minimise the scope of disputes.
We are very honoured to have drafted the procurement manual, rules and policy framework for Oil and Gas Development Company, a largest oil and gas company of Pakistan. The task included drafting of the following policies: Indent Review Committee Policy; Blacklisting Committee Policy; Procurement Committee Policy; and Indigenisation Policy
We have also prepared Procurement Policy for OGDC pursuant to the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance & Operations) Act, 2023. Our draft was commended by the Petroleum Ministry and was shared to other oil and gas company as standard.
